CELEBRATION OF "PENTECOST" IN LONJA

At the local celebration of "Pentecost" in the Posavina town named Lonja were many locals from the town and it's area gathered.

Along with most beautiful songs and dances performed by the Folk dance ensemble "Zeleni brijeg" and original Folk dance ensemble "Posavke" from Hrastelnica, an exibition of fishing tools and souvenirs (M. Vojković) and paintings with domestic motives (S. Blažeković) was arranged. Hosts (M. Nekić, N. Nikolić i Lj. Mulac) offered domestic specialties like "šaran na rašljama" (carp barbecued on wooden stiks).
