At the local celebration of "Pentecost" in the Posavina town named Lonja were many locals from the town and it's area gathered.

The president of the County Chamber Mesarić Boris and his associates presented the catalogue "DILIGENT HANDS" on the 14th of December in the County chamber of Sisak.

The 2nd Fair of Crafts and small enterprises was held in the House of craftsmen in Novska, 20 craftsmen were exhibiting their products.

Between the 16th and 18th October 2009, the 2nd Fair in Garešnica was held at the town market, it is an international Fair of family agriculture businesses.

In Zagreb, on the Ban Jelačić Square between the 14th and 18th October the 5th Fair of Croatian souvenirs was held.

Mijo Vojković took part in the already traditional «CHESTNUT FESTIVAL» in Croatian Kostajnica that was held this year between the 09th and 11th October.

On Wednesday, the 02nd of July 2009 the 4th Fair of Croatian souvenirs was opened at the Ban Jelačić Square. It was organized by the Association “Croatian souvenir” and will last for five days, where about hundred exhibitors will present their souvenirs, traditional and similar products.

The President of Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesić and 70 diplomats accredited in RofC stayed in Sisak and on the area of the Nature park «Lonjsko polje» on Thursday, the 16th  of April. There host was the County of Sisak-Moslavina and district-prefect Marina Lovrić.
