OLD HARVEST CUSTOMS

On 30th of June on the estate of Ivan i Vera Ožoga in  Nova Subockathe second „Old harvest customs“ was held.

This manifestation was initiated by the family Ožoga to preserve a tradtion of old harvest customs and other traditions on farms in past times with a goal to pass on the traditions to younger generations and not to let them to be forgotten. Beside the harvest, a traditional harvest of grains was presented. Within the manifestation was a presentation of traditional crafts, grinding on a millstone, preparation and baking bread in a woodfired oven and other activities related to the time of the most important agricultural jobs harvesting and thresching
